Amy Adams Fast Facts:

Grew up in Colorado but was born in Italy while her father was stationed on a U.S. military base there.
The fourth of seven brothers and sisters, she was raised in a strict Mormon household.
Made her big-screen debut in the 1999 comedy Drop Dead Gorgeous.
After director Steven Spielberg saw her work in Gorgeous, he offered her a role in 2002's Catch Me If You Can.
Received a Special Jury Prize at the Sundance Film Festival and an Oscar nod for her breakout performance in the 2005 indie drama Junebug.
