  • Best known for playing boozing, wisecracking best friend Maryann Thorpe on the CBS sitcom Cybill.

  • Starred twice in stage musicals at the Kennedy Center in Washington, DC: as Mrs. Lovett in Sweeney Todd (2002) and as the titular aunt in Mame (2006).
