Tom Berenger Fast Facts:

Originally planned to study journalism in college but switched majors after he scored a role in a student production of Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?.
First major role was in 1977's Looking for Mr. Goodbar, in which he portrayed a psychopathic murderer.
Moved to Beaufort, South Carolina after shooting 1983's The Big Chill there.
Played Don, the plumber who won Kirstie Alley's heart in the final episodes of Cheers.
