Bob Dylan Fast Facts:

Shocked fans by "going electric" in the mid-'60s, drawing boos at concerts. When a fan at an event in England called him "Judas," he responded by leading his band into an earsplitting "Like a Rolling Stone," his groundbreaking 1965 single that Rolling Stone magazine named the greatest rock song of all time.
The sequence of him flipping lyric cards of "Subterranean Homesick Blues" in the 1967 documentary Don't Look Back is considered a precursor to the modern music video.
Recipient of a Lifetime Grammy Award at the 1991 ceremony and a Kennedy Center Lifetime Achievement Award in 1997.
Won three Grammy Awards for his Time Out of Mind CD at the 1998 ceremony, while his son Jakob Dylan won a songwriting Grammy for the Wallflowers' hit "One Headlight."
Compelling 2004 memoir, Chronicles: Volume One, was a best-seller and was nominated for a National Book Critics award.
