When a fan at an event in England called him "Judas," he responded by leading his band into an earsplitting "Like a Rolling Stone," his groundbreaking 1965 single that Rolling Stone magazine named the greatest rock song of all time.
The sequence of him flipping lyric cards of "Subterranean Homesick Blues" in the 1967 documentary Don't Look Back is considered a precursor to the modern music video.
