Crispin Glover Fast Facts:
  • Attended the Mirman School for Academically Gifted Children for nine years.
  • At age 14, he appeared opposite Florence Henderson in a stage version of The Sound of Music.
  • Best known for playing Michael J. Fox's goofy father George McFly in the 1985 time-traveling comedy Back to the Future. Glover had previously appeared as a guest on Fox's hit sitcom Family Ties.
  • In a notorious 1987 appearance on Late Night With David Letterman, he challenged Letterman to an arm-wrestling match then did a karate kick close to the host's head before being kicked off of the show.
  • Made his directorial debut with What Is It?, a 2005 art film featuring a cast comprised of actors with Down syndrome.
