John Cusack Fast Facts:

Attended the Piven Theatre Workshop as a child and befriended the founders' son, actor Jeremy Piven. The two went on to appear in numerous films together, including 1989's Say Anything and 2001's Serendipity.
At age 16, he made his feature-film debut in the teen comedy Class (1983).
Voiced radio commercials for McDonald's and Heinz at age 12.
Cowrote, coproduced and costarred in 1997's Grosse Pointe Blank, the first film released by New Crime Productions, a company he cofounded in 1992.
Board member of the Schoolhouse Foundation, a nonprofit group in New York City.
