Drew Carey Fast Facts:

Moved to Las Vegas via Greyhound bus when he was 19 with just a backpack.
Once in Vegas, worked as a Denny's waiter and a bank teller at the Hilton Hotel.
Joined the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve in 1980 and stayed in the service for six years.
Made an appearance on Star Search in 1987.
Received an honorary doctorate from Cleveland State University in 2000.
Concurrently hosted game shows The Price is Right and Power of 10 in 2007; had previously hosted the U.S. version of sketch-comedy series Whose Line Is It Anyway?
