This attractive pug-nosed actress was propelled into the spotlight as a gung-ho soldier in the blockbuster Starship Troopers. A scene-stealing part as a manipulative rich girl in Wild Things followed; then she became a Bond babe in The World Is Not Enough. Although the bulk of Richards' subsequent work was pretty low-rent, she remained in the public eye thanks to her marriage to Hollywood bad boy Charlie Sheen. The two appeared in a number of projects together and seemed positively blissful until Richards left him in 2005 while pregnant with their second child, and subsequently accused him of serial infidelity and physical abuse. The next year, she found herself in the tabloids once again due to her romance with Bon Jovi's Richie Sambora, the estranged husband of her pal Heather Locklear.
