Was a finalist in a modeling search conducted by Teen Magazine.
Once shared an apartment with actress Jane Leeves.
Co-authored the 2004 book Cooking with Faith: 125 Classic and Healthy Southern Recipes.
Was diagnosed in 1990 with Graves' disease, a disorder of the thyroid gland and has also suffered from arthritis.
