Frances Conroy Fast Facts:

Studied with John Houseman and Marian Seldes at Juilliard.
Appeared in four plays written by Arthur Miller, the first of which, The Last Yankee, earned her a 1993 OBIE Award.
Replaced Blythe Danner for the off-Broadway premiere of Miller's The Ride Down Mt. Morgan; she earned a Tony nod when the show moved to Broadway.
Made her film debut in Woody Allen's Manhattan.
Appeared with her husband, performance artist Jan Munroe, in the 1994 off-Broadway drama Booth; Munroe also auditioned for the role of George in Six Feet Under.
