Hayley Mills Fast Facts:

Walt Disney cast her in Pollyanna (1960) after seeing her 1959 debut film, Tiger Bay (which also starred her father, John Mills).
To protect her good-girl image, she was advised to turn down the title role in Stanley Kubrick's Lolita (1962).
Concerned about her appearance on camera, she developed an eating disorder at the age of 18.
Changed her public image when she did a nude scene for the film The Family Way (1966) and married the director, Roy Boulting (who was more than 30 years her senior).
Toured in a production of Noel Coward's Fallen Angels opposite her older sister, Juliet Mills, in the '90s.
