A fresh-faced, multitalented performer, Moore first surfaced as one of a slew of blonde teen divas in the late '90s. The pretty singer toured with the Backstreet Boys and 'N Sync before releasing her hit-making first album and quickly became an MTV staple, hosting specials as well as her own eponymous series. Anxious to prove that she was more than a bubblegum pop princess, Moore underwent a striking makeover, darkening her tresses and embarking on a film career. She wisely played against type in her first major Hollywood role — a villainess in The Princess Diaries — before reverting to her good-girl image as the lead in the romance A Walk to Remember. A succession of movies and albums followed, and although the diva never had a breakout film smash, she remained in the spotlight thanks to high-profile romances (Wilmer Valderrama, tennis star Andy Roddick, and Zach Braff, even though the two initially denied they were a couple) as well as a plethora of projects.
