Julie Kavner Fast Facts:

Although born and raised in California, she is often mistaken for a native New Yorker due to her slight Brooklyn accent (her parents were both transplants).
Had never acted professionally before landing the supporting role of the title character's sister on Rhoda.
Received Emmy nominations for her first two professional acting jobs: a prime-time Emmy nod for Rhoda and a Daytime Emmy for her work as "The Girl Who Couldn't Lose," an episode of The ABC Afternoon Playbreak.
Has appeared in numerous Woody Allen films, including 1986's Hannah and her Sisters, 1989's New York Stories, 1989's Radio Days, 1990's Alice, 1992's Shadows and Fog and 1997's Deconstucting Harry.
Worked with Tracey Ullman in The Tracey Ullman Show and Tracey Takes On....
Dislikes doing the voice of Marge Simpson — her signature role — in front of the camera.
