Taught Hatha yoga in Los Angeles.
Began career as a clown and high-wire walker for the Carson and Barnes Wild Animal Circus.
Debuted as an actor in 1972 with the play A Cry of Players in Anchorage, AL.
His directorial debut, Parking, won the Audience Choice Award for Best Short Film at Slamdance in 1996.
The film Nude Descending, which he co-wrote and co-produced with his wife Riad Galayini (who directed) won the George Melies Award at the Taos Talking Picture Festival in 1998.
