Kerry Washington Fast Facts:

At age 13, she studied acting at the Education Theater Company in New York.
After graduating from college, she studied yoga in India.
Made her film debut in Our Song (2000), a movie about teen pregnancy. A year later, she came to prominence portraying a teen mother in Save the Last Dance.
Acted opposite Anthony Hopkins in 2002's Bad Company and 2003's The Human Stain.
