Made TV debut in 1961 on Bachelor Father. Its star, John Forsythe, later played her husband on Dynasty.
In 1964, she decided to change her last name from Evanstad to Evans after being cast in The Big Valley.
In the '90s, she helped launch the Linda Evans Fitness Centers, a chain of women-only gyms in California.
