Penny Marshall Fast Facts:

As a teen, she performed with her mother's tap-dancing troupe, which won Ted Mack's Amateur Hour and appeared on The Jackie Gleason Show.
Her brother, Garry Marshall, cast her in three ABC series he produced: The Odd Couple (1970-1975), Happy Days (1974-1984) and Laverne & Shirley (1976-1983).
Was in the running for the role of Gloria in the CBS sitcom All in the Family (1971-1979) opposite her then-husband Rob Reiner.
Served as a producer for 2005's Cinderella Man, directed by friend Ron Howard.
