  • Met collaborator Trey Parker while both were undergrads at the University of Colorado. Together they made the 1995 short film The Spirit of Christmas, which was originally commissioned by a TV exec as a video greeting card to send to his friends. The animated short spawned South Park.
  • Named the parents of South Park character Kyle, whom he voices, after his mom and dad: Sheila and Gerald.
  • Discussed growing up in Littleton, CO, in Michael Moore's Bowling for Columbine (2002).
