Michelle Forbes Fast Facts:

Made her TV debut playing twins Sonni and Solida on soap The Guiding Light; for which she earned a 1990 Daytime Emmy nomination.
Star Trek: The Next Generation character Ensign Ro was so popular the series' creators wanted to make Forbes a regular on spin-off Deep Space Nine, but Forbes wasn't interested in committing to another show.
Made her big-screen debut in the 1993 thriller Kalifornia.
Later did stints on several acclaimed series, including Homicide: Life on the Street, 24 and Battlestar Galactica.
Learned sign language in just six days for her role in the 2001 BBC miniseries Messiah.
