Amadeus
(1984). The movie was shot almost exclusively in Czechoslovakia and marked Forman's first return to his home country since the 1960s.
Taught filmmaking at Columbia University and was named codirector of the institute's film program.

Has two sets of twin sons born 34 years apart. Andrew and James, born in 1999, are named after Andy Kaufman and Jim Carrey, the subject and star, respectively, of Forman's 1999 film
