Tall and athletic with a long, expressive face, Rosenbaum reportedly shaves his head daily for his breakthrough role as a young Lex Luthor on the Superman series Smallville. In college, he excelled at sports and drama and spent his summers doing regional theater. After graduation, he tried his luck in New York before heading to Hollywood where he starred in two flops for WB, The Tom Show and Zoe, Duncan, Jack & Jane. His relationship with the network finally paid off when he landed on Smallville in 2001. Rosenbaum also found time to tackle a number of big-screen supporting roles as well as voice-over work for animated projects.
