Grandfather was the legendary Jackie Gleason and his father was Jason Miller, a Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright (That Championship Season) and Oscar-nominated actor (The Exorcist).
First industry job was as a production assistant on his father's film adaptation of That Championship Season.
Insisted on injecting saline-filled syringes into his arm to simulate heroin use while playing an undercover narcotics officer/junkie in 1991's Rush.
