Gilda Radner Fast Facts:

Made her stage debut in a 1972 production of Godspell in Toronto.
Joined a Second City Toronto troupe in 1973 that included Dan Aykroyd and Brian Doyle-Murray.
Made her film debut in 1973's The Last Detail, which featured future SNL cast member Randy Quaid; her Broadway debut was six years later in Gilda Radner: Live from New York.
Made her final film appearance in 1986's Haunted Honeymoon, opposite husband Gene Wilder.
Wrote about her battle with ovarian cancer in the best-selling, posthumously published memoir It's Always Something.
