Reed Diamond Fast Facts:

His father worked for the Metropolitan Opera.
Made acting debut in an ABC Afterschool Special at age 7.
Briefly considered a career as a police officer but pursued acting instead. He joined the cast of Homicide: Life On the Street as Detective Mike Kellerman in 1995.
Was introduced as a regular on The Shield when it debuted in 2002, but his character, Detective Terry Crowley, was killed in the series opener.
Along with the rest of the cast, was nominated for a 2006 Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture for Good Night, and Good Luck.
