Rene Russo Fast Facts:

Dropped out of high school in the 10th grade; classmate Ron Howard later directed her in 1996's Ransom.
As a teen, she was spotted outside a concert by an agent and signed to a modeling contract; became a top model of the '70s and early '80s.
Breakthrough role was as a tough detective in 1992's Lethal Weapon 3; she reprised the role six years later in Lethal Weapon 4.
Was scheduled to play opposite Michael Keaton in 1995's Batman Forever; when Keaton dropped out and was replaced by Val Kilmer who was eight years his junior, Russo was replaced by the younger Nicole Kidman.
