Saul Rubinek Fast Facts:
  • Began acting professionally, in Canada, when he was 10.
  • Won a Genie Award (Canada's version of an Oscar) for his supporting role in the 1981 film Ticket to Heaven.
  • Wrote and produced So Many Miracles, a 1987 documentary about his parents' experiences during the Holocaust. Born in a Holocaust-survivor camp, he also played a Nazi hunter on an episode of Outer Limits called "The Tribunal."
  • Played biographer W. W. Beauchamp in Clint Eastwood's Oscar-winning 1992 film, Unforgiven. He told bullz-eye.com that he so loved that experience that "I would have paid them to let me be in the movie."
  • Was cast alongside Dan Hedaya in two different movies about Richard Nixon: 1995's Nixon and 1999's Dick.
